Campbell's Original Beef Stroganoff

1 pound round steak, cut into thin strips
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 T. butter or margarine
1 can Campbell's condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup sour cram
1/2 t. paprika
2 cups cooked noodles
Recipe
Brown steak and onion in butter. Stir in soup, water, sour cream and
paprika. Cover; cook over low heat 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
Stir
often. Serve over noodles. Filet mignon can be very expensive, so the
Campbell's folks had a great idea for a cheaper version of this classic
steak. This is she original recipe, but we liked browning the meat and
onion
and then putting everything in the slow cooker pot and cooking the
stroganoff on low for four hours. Either way, it's a winner.
