2 cups cooked cracked wheat
1 onion
1 carrot
1 bell pepper
1/2 cup ketchup
water or beef broth
2 cups flour or 2 cups homemade matzo meal [ make matzo
yourself ]
Recipe
In a blender liquidfy the veggies using broth or water.
In a bowl add flour or matzo meal and ketchup.
Pour liquified veggies over and throughly mix,mix ,mix. The
mixing gives it an excellent texture.
shape into balls and baked in 350F oven until done. The
veggies
should be cooked and balls browned.
Next is the sauce you want to serve them in.
Because this is meatless you will want use milk as part of
the
base.
We are using instant powdered milk ,broth, dill and flour as
the
thickner and adding a bit of sour cream. You can make a
red,
white, brown or whatever sauce. We are using mushroom broth
from the freezer.
It is free and delicious.
If you like a darker/richer color add a little carmelized
coloring.
Make noodle from 2 cups flour and 2 large egg and water as
needed.
Boil noodles.
Serve meatless balls in sauce over noodles.
This is an excellent tasting dish. an international
favorite. Nobody
will guess it is meatless.

Or yellow family veggie of choice.
you only need 1/8 of a cup as there are veggies in the
balls. I
would serve them as a plate garnish along side of the
entree.

We will have leftover sautéed bananas and pineapple in a
sauce
made with sugar and rum extract.
