CP Mexican Corn Bread

List of Ingredients
15 oz. can no added salt cream style corn
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1/4 c. canola oil
1 c. fat free milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. taco sauce
4 ozs. (1 c.) shredded fat free cheddar cheese
1 med. onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
4 oz. can diced green chilies
1 lb. 85% lean ground beef, lightly cooked,
drained, and patted dry
Recipe
Combine corn, cornmeal, baking soda, salt, oil,
milk, eggs, and taco sauce. Pour half of mixture
into crock pot. Layer cheese, onion, garlic, green
chilies, and ground beef on top of cornmeal
mixture. Cover with remaining cornmeal mixture.
Cover; cook on high 1 hour and on low 3 1/2 to
4 hours, or only on low 6 hours. Makes 8 servings.
