CP Veggie Chili

List of Ingredients
2 qts. no added salt whole or diced tomatoes, undrained
6 oz. can tomato paste
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 t. ground cumin
1 t. dried oregano
1/4 t. cayenne pepper
3 T. brown sugar
15 oz. can garbanzo beans
Recipe
Combine all ingredients except beans in crock
pot. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours, or high 3 to 4
hours. Add beans one hour before serving.
Makes 6 servings. If you prefer a less tomatoey
taste, substitute 2 vegs. bouillon cubes and 1
c. water to tomato paste.
