    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    8 tablespoons butter (1 stick) melted and slightly cooled
    3/4 cup canned pumpkin puree
    2 large eggs
    1/3 cup milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup raisins

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Sift together flour, baking powder,
    cinnamon,
    ginger, cloves, salt and baking soda.

    Whisk in brown sugar.

    In a large mixing bowl, stir together melted butter, pumpkin, eggs,
    milk and
    vanilla. Add flour mixture and gently stir just until combined.

    Stir in raisins. Using a 1/4-cup measure, spoon batter into greased
    muffin
    tin.

    Bake until a skewer comes out clean, about 20 to 25 minutes.

    Cool for five minutes in the pan, then transfer to a cooling rack.
