Beef's Best Friend (Make Ahead)

List of Ingredients
9 medium red potatoes
1 stick butter, melted
1 T. salt
2 cups light cream
Onion powder, to taste
1/4 to 1/2 pound Cheddar cheese, grated
Recipe
Boil potatoes in their skins. Cool, refrigerate overnight then peel and
grate. Heat butter, salt, cream and onion powder until hot. Do not
boil. Stir in
cheese. Pour over potatoes and mix well. May be prepared a day or more
ahead.
Bake in buttered casserole for 1 hour at 350. Serves 8 to 12
