Cinnamon Prunes for the Slow Cooker

1 lb. prunes
Rind and juice of 1 lemon
1/3 cup light brown sugar
3 sticks cinnamon, broken
1 T. whole cloves
Recipe
Mix all ingredients and 4 cups water in cooker. Cover pot and cook on
low
overnight or 7 to 8 hours until prunes are tender. Discard cloves. Pack
in
jar. Refrigerated, these prunes will keep for 3 to 4 weeks. Serve with
poultry and meat.
