List of Ingredients
6 slices bacon, diced
6 thick slices stale bread. cut into cubes
2-1/2 C. beef stock
1 Tbs. paprika, or to taste
3 eggs, beaten
Recipe
Fry bacon until transparent. Add bread cubes and continue frying
until bacon is very crisp and bread cubes are golden. In a medium
saucepan, combine beef stock and two cups boiling water. Return to a
boil. Add bread crumbs and bacon. Season with paprika. When soup is
boiling vigorously, add eggs in a thin stream, stirring constantly.
Serve immediately. Makes 5 to 6 servings.
