    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/4 cup water
    2 tablespoons vinegar
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    1 teaspoon sugar

    garlic powder to taste

    Combine all ingredients. Use to marinate beef, chicken or fish.

    Makes 1 cup.
