    Non-toxic alternative to Dishwasher detergent and laundry
    detergent

    Use vinegar and baking soda instead of powder. You don't
    have to bother to
    put it in the containers; just pour it straight into the
    bottom of the
    machine. To start with, use 1 cup of vinegar and 3 teaspoons
    of baking soda.
    Try it and see the results. Vinegar cuts through the grease
    and the action
    of the baking soda brings things out really clean.

    The same can be applied to your laundry. Trial and error is
    the best way to
    get the measurements right as everyone's water is different.
