Broccoli with Walnut Butter

4 pounds broccoli
1 cup butter or margarine (2 sticks)
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
2 T. lemon juice
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepperRecipe
Trim leaves and ends from broccoli Separate top half of broccoli into
flowerets. Save the stems for soup. Steam flowerets or cook in small
amount
of boiling salted water in pan, covered 10 minutes or until crisp
tender.
Drain well. Turn into serving bowl. While broccoli is cooking, melt
butter
in small skillet over medium low heat. Add walnuts; cook slowly,
stirring
frequently, just until butter begins to brown. Add lemon juice, salt
and
pepper. Pour over hot broccoli in bowl. Toss gently. Garnish with
walnuts.
