Cheesy Creamed Corn

2 packages frozen corn
2 packages cream cheese -- cubed
1/4 cup butter -- cubed
3 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons sugar
6 slices Velveeta -- cut in small pieces
Recipe
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker; mix well. Cover & cook on low

hours or until heated through and cheese has melted. Stir well before
serving.

Just a few comments. A similar recipe was originally posted to FF by
Chris
Toner, and I've made it several times. IT IS WONDERFUL!! You can use
canned corn (drained) in this, and you can cook it on top of the stove
on
low or bake in the oven along with your main dish. It does NOT have to
be
done in the crockpot. Her recipe called for up to 6 ounces of Velveeta
and
not Velveeta slices, and the corn packages were 16 ounces each
(frozen).
For this amount of corn, I use 11 ounces of cream cheese. Please note
that
this can be easily halved as it makes a LOT!!!
