    Crispy Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies

    1 and 3/4 cup peanut butter
    1 cup shortening
    2-1/2 cups brown sugar
    6 Tblsp. milk
    2 Tblsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    3-1/2 cups flour
    1-1/2 tsp. salt
    1-1/2 tsp. baking soda

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Combine peanut butter, shortening, and brown sugar. Add milk, vanilla and eggs and beat until creamy. Blend in salt and baking soda. Add flour until well blended.

    Use a 1-1/2" cookie scoop and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Dip fork in sugar and make criss-cross designs on cookies to flatten.

    Bake for approx. 7 minutes.
