    1 stick of butter
    1 yellow cake mix
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    1/2 cup chopped pecans

    Recipe



    Mix butter and dry cake mix until it resembles crumbs. Reserve 1 cup - set aside.

    Put the rest into a greased 9 x 13 pan and press evenly on bottom and up the sides about 1/2 inch.

    Pour cherry pie filling on top of crust.

    Combine chopped pecans with reserved dry cake mix and sprinkle on top of cherries. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
