    6 Tblsp. butter
    1 cup self rising flour
    3/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup chopped pecans
    1-1/2 Tlbsps. cocoa
    1/2 cup milk
    1 tsp. vanilla

    1 cup sugar
    1/4 cup cocoa

    1-1/2 cups boiling water

    Melt butter in a glass 9 x 13 baking pan.

    Combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar, pecans, 1-1/2 Tblsp. cocoa, milk and vanilla. Spoon mixture over the melted butter but DO NOT STIR.

    Mix the 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa together and sprinkle over the batter. DO NOT STIR.

    Next, pour the boiling water over the top. AGAIN -- DO NOT STIR.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool for a short while. It comes out as partly fudgy cake and partly pudding bottom. Good served warm with ice cream.
