Twice Baked Pot Roast

List of Ingredients
1 Bottom Round Roast about 3-4 lbs. (or Rump Roast)
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can beef consomme'
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using a 9 x 13 pan, set roast on a sheet of aluminum foil and spread soup mixture over surface. Sprinkle with dry soup mix. Bring up sides of foil and make a "packet", loosely tenting the top of it. Bake for 2-3 hours.
Remove from oven. Remove roast and allow to cool for a few minutes. Discard the aluminum foil, leaving the liquid in the pan. Slice the roast and put back in the liquid and cover with foil. Lower oven temp. to 200 degrees and bake for another 2 hours.
