My husband loves this dish.
List of Ingredients
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped onion
1 green pepper (chopped)
1 Tblsp. chili powder
1 can Snappy Tom tomato juice
1 can Rotel
1-1/2 cup minute rice (uncooked measurement)
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Worchestershire sauce (about 1 Tblsp.)
Recipe
Brown meat with Worchestershire sauce. Drain grease. Add salt, onion and pepper. Brown a few more minutes. Stir in chili powder and add tomato juice and Rotel (if you don't want it that spicy, omit Rotel and add 2 cans of Snappy Tom. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Add cooked rice to hamburger mixture and pour into a baking dish. Heat in oven on 350 degrees until "bubbly". (About 20 min.) Add the grated cheese for the last 5 minutes.
