Ding Dong Cake

Lisa, the ding dong cake as well as the red zinger cake are both variations I came up with after seeing and trying the twinkie cake recipe that a few people have posted. Here's the recipe:
Ding Dong cake
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 8-oz carton Cool Whip
make cake according to the directions on the box. As soon as it comes out of the oven, poke holes all over the top with a fork and immediately pour the can of sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top. Let cool completely and then top with the Cool Whip. Store in fridge.
To modify this to be the zinger cake, just use a box of yellow cake mix instead of the chocolate one, and add 2 tablespoons of DRY raspberry jello powder into the cake batter. Then bake cake and follow same process with the sweetened condensed milk. Then sprinkle 1/2 a cup or so (to taste, really) of coconut over that. Follow up with the Cool Whip once cake is completely cooled.
