Tom's signature Peanut Butter Pie

Recipe Introduction
Tom, that is my dad. This is his recipe and its wonderful! Its a lot of steps, a good amount of ingredients and a LOT worth it. I hope you guys will give it a try and I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does! My dad is a GREAT cook!
List of Ingredients
Chocolate Layer
1/2 cup semi sweet chips
1 TBL butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tsp water, or more if needed
Filling
1 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter He uses smooth jif
12 oz cool whip
Topping
1/2 cup semi sweet chips
1 TBL butter
2-3 tsp milk or more if needed
1 1/2 tsp light corn syrup
1 baked crust (see below)
whipped topping and peanuts for garnish.
Recipe
Bake crust according to package instructions as soon as it come out of the oven, swirl entire crust with chocolate layer, while BOTH are hot.
Chocolate layer, In a small pan, melt chocolate layer ingredients just till bubbly, swirl into crust (see above) while hot, and refrigerate.
Filling, In medium pan combine "filling" brown sugar and butter, cook and stir on medium heat until smooth, put in frige for 10 minutes. After 10 mins in the frige, beat peanut butter into brown sugar mixture for 1 minute, add cool whip and beat 1 minute more, pour into chocolate coated shell and refrigerate again.
Chocolate topping, in a small pan over low heat melt "topping" ingredients until smooth, adding more milk if necessary (small small amounts). Spoon over pie and spread out to cover. Refrigerate 2 hours. Score chocolate topping into 16 pieces, and when serving garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and peanuts on each piece.
WARNING, this is VERY sweet and VERY rich....dont try to be brave....just dont. LOL....its just wonderful!
