    Recipe Introduction

    Someone posted this and I made it for dinner tonight, here it is with my tweaks included. It is still in the oven, so, Ill be back to let you know how we liked it! The Lady & Sons Savannah Country Cookbook – Paula Deen….pg. 78 Comments: This is a lot like Stouffers…….love it!!

    List of Ingredients

    Ingredients:
    4 cups cooked elbow macaroni, drained (2 cups, uncooked)
    2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 cup sour cream
    4 Tbs. (1/2 stick) butter, cut into pieces
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 cup milk -or- equivalent in evaporated milk


    Recipe

    Directions:
    After macaroni has been cooked and drained, add Cheddar cheese while macaroni is still hot. Combine remaining ingredients and add to macaroni mixture. Pour into casserole dish and bake for 30-45 minutes. Top with add’l cheese, if desired.

    *Tinks Tweaks*
    I doubled the recipe first off, I omitted 3/4 of the milk so only added 1 cup and 1/4. I added one cup of condensed cream of mushroom soup, and about 1/4 of a block of velveeta, cubed. Then I added2 inch pieces of kielbasa on top and threw it in the oven.

    I have marked on my recipe next time try:
    0 Sour Cream
    3 Eggs
    2 Cans cream of mushroom
    *This is of course for a double recipe like above.
