This has been posted here by several people. I made it in May and DH AND our picky kids all liked it (which is a MAJOR accomplishment at my house!)and it is very quick to make, esp if you use canned chili!
I served it with chopped onion, hot sauce and mustard on the side for DH and I to put on it and the kids loved it plain. I am making it for dinner again tonight, so thought I would post it for anyone who may not have seen it last time:
List of Ingredients
8 (10") Flour tortillas
4 to 5 cups favorite canned, or homemade chili (or more if you like) I will for SURE use Homemade Chili Next time.
2 cups shredded jack or cheddar cheese
8 all beef hot-dogs (1/4 lb each) I Will Microwave FIRST
2 cups fritos, crushed
Recipe
Use a 2 quart shallow casserole dish, sprayed with cooking spray. Warm tortillas, and roll hot dogs, burrito style. Pour one cup of the chili in bottom of casserole, and add the hot dog burritos. Pour the rest of the chili over all. Top with shredded cheese, and then the crushed Fritos.
Bake in preheated 400ºF oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
