These are very easy and very good. I love the way you roll the 'logs' and bake like that. Fast. Slices easily after they come out of the oven.

SWEDISH BUTTER COOKIES
1 C BUTTER
1 C SUGAR
2 TEASPOONS MAPLE SYRUP
2 C ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
CONFECTION SUGAR TO DUST WITH
CREAM BUTTER&SUGAR. ADD SYRUP, MIX. COMBINE FLOUR AND BAKING SODA. ADD TO CREAMED MIXTURE. DIVIDE DOUGH INTO 8 PORTIONS. ROLL EACH PORTION INTO A 9 INCH LOG.
PLACE 3 INCHES APART ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET. BAKE 300 FOR 20 MIN. CUT INTO 1 INCH PEICES. COOL DUST WITH CONFECTION SUGAR
