    1/3 cup butter, softened
    2 cups powdered sugar
    2 to 3 tablespons milk
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
    1/4 teaspoon salt

    mix and use however you wish to decorate your cookies. If you don't want the butter flavor in the cookies use crisco instead to have an icing like a cake decorator. Plus use almond flavoring instead of vanilla to help accent the taste.
