Oh, this is so good! I was out of vanilla icecream so I used cool whip, but plan to run to the store after work today and get some icecream. Also, I'm taking some to my Aunt who's in the nursing home, for her dessert this evening. She will enjoy this. Thanks Star for this tasty recipe!~Bettina
Apple Cobbler Dump Cake
1 ( 18-ounce ) package yellow cake mix
2 ( 16-ounce ) cans apples in syrup or
2 cans apple pie filling and 1-1/2 cups apple juice
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375. Empty apples into bottom of one 9x13 pan.
Cover with dry cake mix, press firmly. Cut butter into small pieces. Place on top of cake mix. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
