    This has been known as "Pink Stuff" in my family for years, but I think it needs a new name.

    1 - 16 oz container cottage cheese
    1 large can of crushed pineapple, drained
    1 small box cherry or strawberry jello
    1 - 8 oz. cool whip, thawed
    1/2 - 1 cup crushed nuts

    Mix jello and cool whip together until well blended. Then add remaining ingredients. Stir gently until well mixed.
