Beef 'n' Gravy on Potatoes

List of Ingredients
3 medium potatoes peeled and cut into 1" cubes.
1/3 cup water
1 lb ground beef
1 tea garlic powder
1 tea onion powder
1 env. brown gravy mix (pioneer is best ME)
1/4 cup milk
3 T butter, softened
1/8 tea sal1+1/8 tea pepper
Recipe
Place potatoes in microwave-safe dish, cover and high-cook 8-10 min. or until tender. Meanwhile , cook beef over medium heat in large skillet until no longer pink. Drain. Stir in garlic and onion powder. Prepare gravy according to instructions and add to beef mixture. (At least this is what I did, the directions were unclear on this point .) Place potatoes in mixing bowl add milk, butter, salt and pepper. Beat on medium until smooth. Serve the gravy over the mashed potatoes to 4 happy people.
