Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recipe Introduction
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
List of Ingredients
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups butter
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 5 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 24 ounce milk chocolate chips or chunks
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (opt.)
Instructions
- Beat sugars and butter in large bowl on medium speed untill fluffy, about 5 minutes. Beat in vanilla and eggs; beat in flour, baking soda and salt on low speed. Stir in chocolate and nuts.
- Drop dough 1/4 cupfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly with fork.
- Bake until edges are light brown, 11 to 14 minutes. Let stand 3 to 4 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Cool on wire rack.
Final Comments
These don't last long in our house. Yummy
