    List of Ingredients


    • 3 1/2 to 4 lbs. spareribs or country style ribs
    • 3 cloves garlic, pressed
    • salt (to taste)
    • pepper (to taste)
    • 1 large onion, sliced
    • 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
    • 1 bottle (12 oz.) chili sauce
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
    • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
    • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
    2. Rub ribs with garlic and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    3. Arrange onion slices in a large baking pan and place ribs on top of onions.
    4. Add 1/4 cup of water to pan.
    5. Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.
    6. Combine remaining ingredients, spoon over ribs, bake uncovered 1 hour more.
