No-Knead Dinner Rolls

1/2 cup scalded milk
1/4 cup shortening
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 cup cold water
1 package yeast
1 egg, beaten
3-1/4 cup flourRecipe
Combine milk, shortening, and sugar.
Cool by adding cold water.
Add yeast, mix in egg. Blend in flour, saving part of the flour to use when working dough.
Shape pieces of dough in small rounds.
Place in greased 9 by 9 pan.
Let rise l hour or until doubled.
Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes
