    3/4 cup cocoa
    3/4 cup hot water
    2-1/4 cup flour
    1 teaspoon soda
    1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup shortening
    1/2 cup evaporated mixed with 1 tablespoon vinegar
    1-1/2 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe



    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with sour milk.
    Pour into two layer pans.
    Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
