    1-1/3 cup flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1-1/2 cup sugar
    6 egg whites
    1 teaspoon cream of tarter
    6 egg yolks
    2 teaspoons orange rind
    1/4 cup orange juice

    Recipe



    Mix dry ingredients and 1 cup sugar.
    Combine egg whites and cream of tarter and beat till soft peaks form.
    Gradually add remaining 1/2 cup sugar beating till stiff peaks form.
    In another bowl, beat egg yolks till thick and lemon-colored.
    Beat in orange rind and juice.
    By hand, stir in flour mix and beat 30 seconds.
    Fold into egg whites.
    Pour into 10 inch tube pan.
    Bake 375 for 45-50 minutes.
