    Rosemary Olive Oil Bread

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 1/2C flour
    • 3/4C sugar
    • 1/2C chopped walnuts
    • 2t baking powder
    • 2t dried rosemary
    • 1/4t salt
    • grated zest of 1 lemon (1t)
    • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
    • 3/4C sweet white wine or apple juice
    • 1/2C extra-virgin olive oil


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350.
    2. Lightly coat loaf pan with vegetble cooking spray.
    3. In bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, walnuts, baking poder, rosemary, salt and lemon zest.
    4. In another bowl, blend eggs, wine (or juice) and olive oil; stir into the dry ingredients.
    5. Transfer the batter into pan and smooth surface.
    6. Bake for 55 mintues or until a skewer inserted in center comes out clean.
