Chocolate Cake with Fresh Fruit Topping

This cake will most likely do a vanishing act right before your very eyes. Simple and quick. A great hit during the summer!





List of Ingredients



• 1 package chocolate Devil's Food cake mix (and ingredients called for on the package)
  
• 8 oz chocolate syrup
  
• 1 cup softened cream cheese
  
• 12 finely grated roasted nuts (any type)
  
• 1 cup fresh strawberries
  
• 1 cup sliced bananas
  
• 2 sliced kiwi
  
• 2 cups whipped desert topping
  
• mint sprig garnish (optional)
  






Instructions



1. Preheat oven as directed on cake mix.
   
2. Prepare cake mix and add the chocolate syrup to the mix.
   
3. Fold mixture into a greased 15 X 10 inch backing dish.
   
4. Bake in oven for time prescribed by the cake mix directions.
   
5. Allow cake to cool.
   
6. Spread cream cheese over top of the cake.
   
7. Distribute sliced fruit over cream cheese.
   
8. Top fruit with whipped topping.
   
9. Sprinkle grated nuts over whipped topping.
   
10. Garnish with mint sprigs.
