1/4 cup pine nuts
12 oz. ziti
1 T olive oil
2 cloves minced garlic
1 1/2 T flour
1 cup half and half
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Recipe
1. In a dry skillet, cook the pine nuts over medium heat until lightly browned.
2. Cook the pasta.
3. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil and saute garlic. Add the flour and cook. Add the half & half and cook until thickened.
4. Remove from heat and stir in the basil and cheese. Toss with pine nuts and pasta.
Tomatoes and onions caln also be added.
