1 package yellow cake mix
1 stick butter (softened)
1 can apple slices (not pie filling) drained
1/2 cup sugar and 2 tsp.cinnamon mixed together
1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream
1 egg
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix cake mix and butter together to form crust.
Put cake/butter mixture into the bottom of a metal 13- by 9- by 2-inch baking pan. (If using a glass baking dish decrease temperature 25 degrees.)
Pat the mixture to form a thin crust.
Put in the oven for 10 minutes until crust starts to bubble.
Remove pan from the oven and arrange apple slices evenly on warm crust. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture over apple slices.
In a small bowl, thoroughly mix egg with sour cream. Pour this mixture over the top of the apple slices.
Place back in the oven for 25 minutes, until crust is golden brown.
This is good either warm out of the oven or cold. If any left overs (rather doubtful) cover and put in refrigerator.
