    French Toast Bake

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 C flour 1 1/2 C milk
    1 TBS sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp nutmeg 6 eggs
    1/2 C chopped pecans
    1 C fresh or frozen blueberries
    3 ounces (1 small pkg) cream cheese - cut into 1/2" cubes
    10 slices (1" thick) French bread - cut into 1" cubes

    Grease 9x13 baking dish. Place flour, milk sugar, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and eggs in a large bowl and beat w/ mixer until smooth. Add bread cubes, stir -by hand- until coated.
    Pour into baking dish. Top evenly with cream cheese, blueberries, and pecans. COVER AND REFRIGERATE up to 24 hours.
    Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Bake bread mixture uncovered 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Garnish with powdered sugar if desired.
