    Mock Whipped Frosting

    List of Ingredients




    1 c. milk
    2 T. corn starch
    1/2 c. butter
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 t. vanilla

    Recipe



    Heat milk and corn starch just until thickened; cool completely.

    Cream together butter, shortening, and sugar. Beat together both mixtures and vanilla until smooth.

    Frosts two 8" or 9" layers.
