Grandmomma's Biscuits
List of Ingredients
4 C flour
2/3 C shortening
2 T baking powder
1/2 t salt
3/4 C milk
3/4 C buttermilk (original recipe uses all buttermilk)
Recipe
Cream shortening and dry ingredients. Add milk and mix well. Pat out about 1 inch thick and cut with large biscuit cutter. Bake at 400 until lightly browned. Makes 1 dozen large biscuits.
