    Grandmomma's Cake Muffins

    List of Ingredients




    2 eggs
    1/2 C sugar
    1 1/4 C milk
    1 t vanilla
    1 t shortening (Grandmomma used Crisco)
    pinch salt
    1 t baking powder
    flour

    Recipe



    Cream sugar and shortening. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in milk, baking powder, salt and enough flour to make a thick batter. Beat well. Bake in greased muffin cups at 425 until they test done.
