Applesauce Cake
List of Ingredients
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 cup honey
1 T vanilla
1/2 t mace, nugmeg and allspice
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 t baking powder
1 t cinnamon
1 3/4 cups applesauce
Recipe
Mix together sugar, honey and butter. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. In separate bowl, sift together spices, flour and baking powder. Blend applesauce into egg mixture, alternating with dry ingredients. Bake in squre pan at 350 til cake tests done. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
This is a special favorite of my son, who is a honey lover!
