Beef in Savory Shroom Sauce
List of Ingredients
2 lbs. round steak, sliced thinly across grain
1 onion, halved and sliced
salt and pepper
Paul Prudhomme's Meat Magic
Accent
1 can beef broth
4 cloves chopped garlic
1 lb. sliced shrooms (mushrooms if you prefer)
3 T olive oilRecipe
Season meat with plenty of meat magic and accent and let rest 20 minutes. Saute in oil until barely pink. Remove from skillet and keep warm. Saute onions and garlic in oil til soft, adding more oil if necessary. Add mushrooms and continue to cook for 5 more minutes. Add reserved meat, broth, and more seasoning to taste. Cook down until reduced by half.
Wonderful served over garlic mashed potatoes!
