    Meatballs with Mushroom Sauce

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. ground beef
    1 t chili powder
    1/4 t pepper
    1 egg
    8 mushrooms, sliced
    2 T olive oil
    1/4 C milk
    1/4 C cornmeal
    1 1/2 t salt
    1/4 C grated onion
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 soupcan water
    flour

    Recipe



    Mix meat, chili powder, salt and pepper, egg, water, cornmeal and onion. Shape into balls, roll in flour and brown in oil. Place in casserole. Mix soup, milk, water and mushrooms and pour over meat. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
    Serve with mashed potatoes or noodles.

    This is my version of an old Presto pressure cooker recipe my mother used to make.
