    TORTILLA CHIPS
    MAKE AMOUNT DESIRED

    Homemade tortilla chips are very easy to make and really do taste better than packaged.
    INGREDIENTS

    Corn or flour tortillas, 6-inch round, cut into 3 triangles
    Canola or other cooking oil
    To bake, preheat oven to 400° F. Brush both sides of the tortillas with oil before cutting. Place the triangles on a baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes per side. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with salt if desired. Cool and store in an airtight container.

    To fry, heat about 1/2-inch oil in a large skillet over high heat. Place the triangles into the hot oil in batches and fry until they puff, adjusting heat as needed. Drain on paper towels; sprinkle with salt.
