    1 cup herman starter
    1 cup flour
    2 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 egg
    2 tablespoon oil
    1/2 to 3/4 cup milk

    Mix ingredients well. Using scant 1/4 cup batter per pancake, bake on well greaased preheated gridle or skillet about 3 minutes or till tops are bubbly and eedges brown. Turn. Bake other side about 3 minutes till golden. 10 large pancakes
