TEXAS PECAN CAKE.

2 cups butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
6 eggs well beaten
1 tbsp lemon extract
4 cups all pourpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 cups white rasins
4 cups pecan halves,broken
Cream butter or margarine and sugar,add well beaten eggs and lemon extract.Add flour and baking powder,which have been sifted together,with rasins and pecans mixed in.Blend well and pour into a 10 inch tube pan and bake at 275 for 2 hours.
