    Chocolate Beer Cake

    Cream: 2/3 cup margarine
    2 cups sugar
    2 eggs
    2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
    Sift: 3 cups flour
    2 scant tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt

    Chocolate Beer Cake




    Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with 1 cup cold beer, 1 cup buttermilk and 1-8 oz. bottle maraschino cherries (cut in half). Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes in a 9x13 pan. Frost with white or chocolate frosting.
