    FUDGY CHOCOLATE CAKE.
    *********************
    2 C. all-purpose flour
    dash of salt
    2 C. sugar
    2 sticks butter, softened
    1 1/4 C. water
    4 oz. baking chocolate
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
    2 tsp. baking powder

    Sift together the flour, salt and sugar. Add the butter by hand until it is crumby looking. Boil water and chocolate until the chocolate is melted. Cool. Add to the butter mixture and beat very well. Place in the refrigerator overnight. The next morning beat in the eggs, vanilla and fold in the baking powder. Bake in 2-9" cake pans at 325F. degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
