    Chocolate sandwich cookies


    1/2 Cup Butter -- SOFTENED
    1 Cup sugar
    1 Large egg
    1 Teaspoon vanilla
    1 Cup milk
    2 Cups flour
    1/2 Teaspoon Baking powder
    1 1/2 Teaspoons baking soda
    1/2 Teaspoon Salt
    1/2 Cup Cocoa

    FILLING

    1/2 Cup Crisco
    2 cups powdered sugar
    1 cup Marshmallow cream
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    3 teaspoons milk

    Mix all cookie ingredients together and drop onto cookie sheets about 1 inch apart, Bake at 400* for about 7 to 8 minutes
    Cool


    FILLING

    Mix crisco with powdered sugar, marshmallow cream, add vanilla and 3 to 4 teaspoons of milk till thickness you want.
    spread on flat side of cookie and top with another cookie to make a "sandwhich"
