Citrus Croissants Recipe

Ingredients:
6 large crescent croissants
4 eggs
1/2 cup milk or cream or mix
1/2 cup chunky style orange marmalade
1/2 cup Real Maple Syrup
Instructions:
Split croissants lengthwise and dip into egg/milk mixture. Let set insides up while you heat your griddle. When griddle turns a light swipe of butter lightly brown, cook the croissants like french toast, but watch carefully - they brown and cook quickly because they are airy. (Do not flatten) Serve in a spiral of 3 on a warmed plate, with a meat of your choice. Drizzle with Orange Syrup made from combining marmalade and syrup and heating in microwave (the longer it sets, the better it gets!) Just before serving I squirt a rosette of whipped cream on the top and dust with nutmeg. This is always a guest favorite!
