    ORANGE GLAZED CARROTS

    Category: Side Dish
    Number of Servings: 6

    Ingredients:
    6 to 8 fresh carrots
    1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
    2 tablespoons granulated sugar
    2 tablespoons brown sugar
    1 tablespoon flour
    2/3 cup fresh orange juice

    Cooking Directions:
    Peel carrots and cut into 1 inch lengthwise strips. Cook until barely tender. Transfer to shallow baking dish. In a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in sugars and flour. Gradually add orange juice. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Pour over carrots, stirring gently. May be made ahead up to this point and refrigerated. To serve, bake at 350° F for 30 minutes.
